What Was So Special?

I really love the look and feel of this image.They are exchanging rings as husband and wife and you can just feel their love reaching out to each other. I wanted to capture this holy moment for them so much.   This photograph was made in extremely low light where flash was not allowed. It was taken on the rooftop of a large hotel overlooking the Mississippi River and the Memphis bridge. The bride and groom were amazed because they thought that there was no way that this photograph could be made under such conditions. Several of their amateur "photo buff" friends had tried to capture this image, but of course none of their photographs turned out. There is simply no substitute for a dedicated, highly trained and experienced professional when the photography really counts.
