"Outdoor photography really makes a child's portrait look unique.  But it can be difficult making sure the background doesn't distract from the real 'heart' of the photograph - the child. Notice how the background is very soft but still tells a story about this boy and what he might like to do.  The contrast between the bright blue shirt and the darker muted background helps him to 'pop' out of the photograph. I loved working with this child, he has a fantastic personality and the most mesmerizing eyes!"
